Dr. Agustín Manchado Bruno is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Intensive Care, with extensive experience in managing critically ill patients, transplant recipients, and the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the ICU. He currently serves as the Intensive Care Unit Coordinator at Instituto de Trasplante y Alta Complejidad (ITAC) and as a physician at Sanatorio Mater Dei.
Dr. Manchado Bruno has a strong background in ultrasound training, having completed the Ultrasound in Internal Medicine Course at SAUMB (Argentina) as well as the General Intensive Care Ultrasound (GeNIUS) program is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. He has participated in POCUS training for
other physicians, as an instructor and course organizer, within the framework of internal medicine residency programs, courses for general practitioners, and intensive care fellows.
Passionate about the role of POCUS in modern medicine, he advocates for its integration as an essential extension of the physical examination, improving patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
