Dr. Andrew Cupples is at heart a general practitioner with broad interests in many aspects of healthcare, but has particular expertise and specialist training in Minor Surgery, Men and Women’s Fertility Planning, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Endocrinology in Primary Care.

He is currently one of if not the only, GP in Northern Ireland using Point of Care Ultrasound techniques for routine Primary Care work in practice. He is working towards changing this through my work in GUSI! He enjoys his role as an accredited GP Trainer and Medical Student educator, and he is also a trainer in Minor Surgical and Joint Injection Techniques. He has been performing Minor Surgery and corticosteroid injections in practice for over 13 years.
