Dr. Caleb Cave is a current neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a passion for advancing the use of POCUS within the field of neonatology. His current research interests include investigating changes in lung field ultrasound and diaphragmatic function during post-natal steroid courses. Furthermore, Dr. Cave prioritizes medical education and career mentorship and was granted a house officer teaching award during his residency training. Prior to starting medical school, he worked for several years as a math and science tutor while completing his undergraduate studies. He graduated from medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed a Pediatrics residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
