Chandler Stisher, MD, MPH, is a family physician who works at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Huntsville Regional Medical Campus. He completed his medical school and residency training at UAB and stayed on as family medicine faculty after his training. He currently serves as the family medicine clerkship director for third year medical students as well as the associate program director at the UAB Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program. 

Chandler started his POCUS journey during his third year of residency. He currently practices in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and uses POCUS every day. He will soon complete the GUSI POCUS fellowship, and he enjoys teaching POCUS regularly to medical students, residents, and faculty. His specific passion is to equip medical students and residents who will go on to practice in rural and resource-limited areas with the knowledge and skillset to use POCUS in their daily practice. 

In his spare time, he loves spending timewith his wife, Amanda, who is also a family physician, as well as their young daughter, Leighton.
