Dr. Dominic Frecentese is a procedural radiologist with a diverse background
that spans surgical and radiological training, as well as a strong
commitment to volunteerism and service. After completing
surgical residency at Gunderson Clinic, he spent a year
volunteering in St. Lucia, West Indies contributing to medical care
for the underserved.
Returning to the United States, he transitioned to radiology,
beginning his residency at Creighton University, then
completing a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. Dr.
Frecentese has been recognized for his dedication to the field,
receiving a Fellowship in the American College of Radiology for
his exceptional service.
Outside of professional life, Dr. Frecentese is a passionate
advocate for single-payer health care, serving on the Minnesota
Board of Physicians for a National Health Program. He enjoys
spending his free time mountain biking, whitewater kayaking,
hiking, studying wilderness medicine, and traveling with his wife
and three children. Dr. Frecentese believes strongly in the power
of sharing knowledge and helping others, and is dedicated to
making the world a better place through both his professional
work and personal pursuits.
