Hana has been an emergency medicine PA at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for about 20 years. She is EM PA Ultrasound director in the Emergency Department responsible for POCUS training of more than 60 EM PAs. She found her passion for POCUS when working with Ultrasound gurus like Mike Stone, Heidi Kimberly. and others.

She has taught ultrasound at local PA schools – MCPHS, BU, at WINFOCUS, AAPA iScan, Spocus – directed EM POCUS workshops at MGH Institute of Health Sciences for more than 4 years, and taught at many other national and international conferences.

She was born in Czech Republic and went to Medical school prior to coming to USA, Hana completed her medical education at Yale prior to starting her career in Emergency Medicine.

Hana lives with her husband Patrick in Natick, MA and enjoys the outdoors, biking, boating, and skiing.
