Jacob Nettleton studied Medicine and Public Health at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Washington. His interests in family medicine include chronic disease management, behavioral health, and global health equity. After completing residency, Jacob joined the Global Health Service Partnership, a joint program between Seed Global Health and the Peace Corps, as a Physician Educator in Malawi. He now splits time between Mangochi, Malawi, where he serves as visiting faculty with the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences Department of Family Medicine, and the greater Seattle area, where he sees patients and teaches residents in an FQHC setting. His clinical educator role in Malawi includes a heavy emphasis on POCUS skills for Malawian Family Medicine post-graduate trainees.
