Dr. Jay Ruby is a family physician and core faculty member at the Kaiser Permanente Seattle Family Medicine Residency. They completed FM residency at Swedish First Hill in Seattle in 2021 and graduated from the University of New Mexico Maternal Child Health fellowship in 2023. They are passionate about medical education, reproductive justice, anti-racism in medicine, and helping residents learn the intricacies of physiologic birth. They love all POCUS but have a special interest in OB ultrasound.

Outside of medicine, they love riding bikes, hiking in Washington’s beautiful North Cascades region, reading, journaling, and hanging out in the backyard with their partner and two dogs.
