NEW COURSE: This two-day, in-person course is designed to help primary care clinicians learn the basics of diagnostic and injection techniques with ultrasound. On Day One, hands-on scanning supervision by faculty will help each learner master the basic diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound exams. On Day Two, cadavers will be used to allow participants to practice the basic musculoskeletal ultrasound injection techniques. 15-16 hours over two days, CME eligible. Access to GUSI's online MSK Essentials course is included (upon registration to 9/30/2024).

New Course: Point of Care Ultrasound for UK GPs: Essential Topics & MSK
Gusi's UK team is delighted to offer high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions with volunteer healthy models in an inclusive, collaborative learning environment. The course is taught by experienced clinicians working in the NHS Community Services. Course participants also receive access to GUSI's online longitudinal Essentials and MSK POCUS curricula. Participants will learn how to identify and clinically integrate common and frequent clinical conditions. Build confidence with new skills in: cardiac, lung, pelvic organs, abdominal aorta, kidney, and gallbladder. Also, MSK diagnosis of shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and foot.

New Course: OB POCUS Review
GUSI is partnering with Swedish Health to deliver our acclaimed in-person Point of Care Ultrasound experience which combines high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions of pregnant volunteer model patients in an inclusive, collaborative, learning environment. The course is taught by a multidisciplinary group of MFM and FM-OB physicians who are both skilled POCUS practitioners and passionate educators. Course participants also receive access to our online longitudinal OB POCUS curriculum for additional CME. Participants will learn how to identify and clinically integrate: 1. Fetal Presentation; 2. Fetal Number; 3. Amniotic Fluid Assessment; 4. Placental Location; 5. Fetal Heart Rate. Build confidence with new skills in: 1st trimester pregnancy dating and troubleshooting; Basic 2nd/3rd trimester dating with biometry; Ectopic pregnancy evaluation; Ultrasound for IUD care; and how to perform a biophysical profile.
Hands-On Point of Care Ultrasound Training for Primary Care
GUSI's acclaimed two-day in-person Point of Care Ultrasound Training course combines high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions. This 13.5 CME course uses a flipped classroom model and is designed to maximize scanning time through low instructor to learner and learner to ultrasound ratios. The course is unique, taught by physicians who are both skilled POCUS practitioners and expert educators. Course participants receive three+ months of complimentary access to our online POCUS Essentials Course (25 CME hours, a $289 annual subscription) -- available immediately after registration.
