Angela Rodgers, MD, FAAFP is a board-certified family medicine physician who works full time in a county emergency department in northern California. She graduated from medical school from University of California, Davis (UC Davis) and completed residency at an acute care focused program in the Bay Area known as the Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency Program (CCFMRP). She is a volunteer assistant clinical professor through the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), core faculty within CCFMRP, and the emergency medicine course supervisor for the family medicine residents. She has taught POCUS to residents and practicing clinicians locally as well as at national conferences such as Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM). She is vice chair of the American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP) Emergency Medicine-Urgent Care Membership Interest Group and extensively involved in scholarly work, graduate medical education, health equity, and physician wellbeing initiatives.
