Fasih Hameed

Instructor, Instructors

Dr. Hameed is a full-scope, integrative family physician and teacher who embraces both technology and ancient healing traditions in an obsessive pursuit of “Good Medicine”.  His day jobs involve leading primary care and wellness innovations at a large Northern California FQHC, teaching procedural medicine, caring for a large patient panel, and outpatient medical attending at the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency.   He is a pioneer in the field of Integrative Medicine for the underserved, frequent invited guest speaker, and has advocated for common-sense, whole-person approaches to health at a congressional briefing in DC, the California state Capitol, and at the National Academy of Science Engineering and Medicine.   In 2024 he was awarded the “Change Maker Award” by the AIHM.

He was also an early adopter of POCUS in the FQHC setting and continues to refine the efficient integration of this powerful tool into everyday primary care practice.  His POCUS specialties include MSK, procedures, foreign body, and soft tissue.
