Nimeka Phillip

Dr. Nimeka Phillip is a family physician who values full-spectrum care.  She works as an attending physician in the Obstetrics department at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California, as a detention health provider at the Contra Costa County jail, as a hospitalist at Adventist Health in Ukiah, California and as a residency preceptor in primary care and Obstetrics at the Adventist Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Ukiah, California.  Dr. Phillip graduated from the Latin American School of Medicine, in Havana, Cuba, attended family medicine residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina and attended Obstetrics Fellowship at Cone Health in Greensboro, North Carolina.  She is passionate about improving outcomes for people in low-resource settings, where ultrasound can be a powerful tool to provide care. Her hobbies are language studies, dance, running, travel and family activities with her young daughters.
