Priscilla Esadah was born in Lagos, Nigeria, where she spent the early years of her childhood before moving to Accra, Ghana for High School, and then to the United States for college.  Priscilla earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from SUNY Buffalo and continued her medical education at the Norton College of Medicine in Syracuse, NY. Priscilla’s diverse experiences at each stage of her academic journey, including working on a smoking cessation research project in college and shadowing at a Refugee clinic in medical school, solidified her passion for medicine and global health. She was fortunate to have continued exposure to clinical experiences that affirmed this choice. Priscilla developed an appreciation for the breadth of Family Medicine which led her to residency at Lancaster General Hospital in PA. Her interest in POCUS blossomed after a rotation at Vassar Brothers in NY.  She realized that it was the perfect way to combine her passion for teaching and mentorship with Global Health. Priscilla is delighted to embark on the next phase of this journey as an Ultrasound Fellow in Philadelphia. She looks forward to solidifying her skills as an Ultrasound educator with the aim of a career in Academic Medicine. Outside of work, Priscilla loves spending quality time with family and friends, indulging in her favorite Netflix shows, and exploring new hobbies.
