Sara Scott

Sara Scott, MD attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed her family medicine residency at The Ohio State University. She began using point-of-care ultrasound during a global health fellowship through the Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency in California and went on to use and teach ultrasound extensively while living in Malawi with the HEAL Fellowship. She views POCUS as a powerful tool for empowering health care workers in under-resourced settings, improving access to care, and strengthening connection with patients. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, running, and playing ultimate frisbee.
