Rachna Vanjani

Rachna Vanjani is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who works with historically excluded and underserved communities to provide reproductive health care in a justice-oriented and holistic way. They have worked in county hospitals, federally qualified health centers, independent abortion clinics, and the carceral system, providing reproductive health care in jails and detention facilities. After Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, they became a traveling abortion provider working across various states in the United States. They have served on the boards of the teach program (an organization that increases access to abortion care) and Ujima Family Recovery Services (an organization that supports mothers in recovery to be with their children). Rachna is currently focused on integrating indigenous medicine practices with their allopathic medical training to provide whole-person reproductive health care. Their interests include meditation, yoga, expanding consciousness, community building & mutual aid.
