Rebecca Muthoni

Rebecca Muthoni is a sonographer with a strong focus on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), with experience in abdominal imaging, obstetrics, and basic echocardiography.

She has worked At Ilara Health, under the Bill and Melinda Gates maternal healthcare project, where  she served as a POCUS trainer and instructor for the Butterfly IQ,  training clinicians and nurses in Kenya in basic obstetric ultrasound and supporting care through tele-guidance for complex cases.

 

She has also worked with GE ultrasound POCUS  systems, including the Vscan Air, as an application specialist. Rebecca is passionate about expanding access to practical ultrasound skills and improving patient care in resource-limited settings through her work with the Global Ultrasound Institute.
