GUSI participates in OB POCUS Training in Kenya

Ultrasound is a crucial diagnostic tool in medicine, with recent technological advancements leading to increased use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).

However, in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs), access to ultrasound and training is limited, especially for reproductive health. This article highlights the feasibility of implementing OB POCUS for high-risk conditions in rural Kenyan healthcare facilities through a collaborative effort involving Butterfly Network, Global Ultrasound Institute, and Kenyatta University.
