Jacqueline Kagima

Dr. Jacqueline Wanjiku Kagima is a pioneer in the use and training of PoCUS in Kenya, she is physician and pulmonologist, an educator, and is involved in research. She is a strong advocate for POCUS adoption across the continuum of care, with a particular focus on lung health and health equity.

 

Dr. Kagima is a Chair of Department of Medicine at the Kenyatta National Hospital. She also is the current secretary of the Respiratory society of Kenya (ReSoK). 

Dr. Kagima is a master trainer in PoCUS and her PhD work also involved the use of cardiopulmonary ultrasound. 

Dr. Kagima has presented her work on POCUS at various national and international conferences, including WINFOCUS, KAP, ReSoK and ATS.
