He works as a General Practitioner in Cantù (CO), where he uses POCUS on a daily basis for both diagnostic and musculoskeletal interventional activities.
He took his first steps in ultrasound after attending numerous courses (mainly organized by SIUMB and SIEMG), initially in the Emergency Department and in the Continuity of Care setting. Subsequently, he worked as an ultrasound specialist in correctional healthcare and as a freelance physician in private outpatient clinics.
He firmly believes that the general practitioner should reclaim their role as a clinician, particularly by focusing on first-level diagnostics at the point of care (not only POCUS, but also electrocardiography and spirometry).
