General Practitioner | SIUMB Lecturer of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Dr. Tommaso Gistri works as a General Practitioner in Viareggio (LU), with over ten years of experience in Primary Care and Continuity of Care services. Over the years, he has learned ultrasound by attending numerous SIUMB courses in musculoskeletal, internal medicine, and vascular fields.

He teaches at the SIUMB School of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound ECOMSKBO in Bologna. He uses ultrasound daily in his General Practice office, where he performs point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to make more precise diagnoses and autonomously follow patients with chronic problems requiring ultrasound follow-up.
