
Vivian Li

Vivian Li, MD, ScM, earned her BA in Social Anthropology from Harvard University before completing her MD and Master of Science in Population Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Following college, she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in Nicaragua, where she researched and implemented community-based Zika prevention strategies.
She completed residency training at Temple University Hospital, followed by an Advanced Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Li is committed to advancing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) education in resource-limited settings, where accessible diagnostic tools can sustainably expand care capacity. She has taught ultrasound internationally in Mexico, Kurdistan, and Namibia, with a focus on building local training infrastructure.
Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys playing tennis with her husband and chasing sunrises with her camera.
