Over four intensive and hands-on days, participants will receive expert-led training across the following modules:
✅ Cardiac POCUS – Develop the ability to perform focused echocardiography at the bedside. Assess cardiac function, identify pericardial effusion and tamponade, evaluate volume status, and support decision-making in undifferentiated shock, cardiac arrest, and haemodynamic instability.
✅ Pulmonary POCUS – Master lung ultrasound for the rapid identification of pneumothorax, pleural effusion, pulmonary oedema, and consolidation. Gain the confidence to make accurate respiratory diagnoses faster than ever before.
✅ FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography in Trauma) – Learn to detect free fluid in the peritoneal cavity, pelvis, and pericardium in trauma patients. This life-saving skill enables rapid triage and timely surgical or resuscitative intervention.
✅ Vascular POCUS – Acquire essential vascular ultrasound skills including DVT assessment using compression ultrasound, aortic aneurysm screening, and ultrasound-guided vascular access — competencies that are increasingly expected across multiple specialties.
