    This intensive 4-day course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the practical ultrasound skills needed to make fast, accurate, and confident clinical decisions at the bedside.

    Over the course of four fully immersive days, participants will receive structured training in the core components of obstetric ultrasound, including:

    ✅ Fetal Presentation – Accurately identify fetal lie and presentation to guide clinical management and delivery planning.
    ✅ Fetal Number – Detect singleton and multiple gestations with confidence.
    ✅ Placental Location – Identify placental position and screen for placenta previa.
    ✅ Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) – Assess and document fetal cardiac activity at the point of care.
    ✅ Amniotic Fluid Adequacy – Evaluate amniotic fluid levels to identify oligohydramnios or polyhydramnios.
    ✅ Gestational Dating – Apply appropriate biometric measurements for accurate dating across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters.

Although I hadn’t touched an OB ultrasound in 25 years, the GUSI online and in-person OB course gave me the tools I needed. I successfully replicated their “Big 5” training in Guatemala, and every community health worker learned how to scan pregnant women for these critical findings.
