Caroline Auxier

Caroline Auxier is a fifth-year medical student and Senior Academic Medicine Fellow at Touro University California, applying into emergency medicine. She got hooked on point-of-care ultrasound through GUSI largely because of its ability to connect her with her patients – being right there at the bedside, showing someone their own anatomy in real time, can be something special. Watching a patient’s face light up when they see their own heart moving for the first time is hard to beat. That same energy is what drew her into teaching: there’s something deeply satisfying about watching another student go from a shaky probe hand to getting it. She’s genuinely stoked to keep learning and growing alongside the MedConnect community.
