  • Completed post graduate training in ultrasound and doppler at ¨Sociedad Argentina de Ultrasonografia en Medicina y Biologia (SAUMB)¨ 2009-2010.
  • Founder of HEPOCUS (also his twitter handle)
  • Completed residency in internal medicine at the Instituto de Investigaciones Médicas ¨Alfredo Lanari¨ in 2010 and then did a hepatology and liver transplant fellowship at Hospital Universitario Austral until 2013.

  • PhD on non-invasive assessment of liver fibrosis and portal hypertension and worked from 2013 to 2017 at the Institute for Liver and Digestive Health, University College London, Royal Free Hospital.
  • Consultant physician specialist at the High Complexity Unit of the Hospital of San Giuseppe, Empoli (Florence, Italy), and holds a position of Honorary Associate Professor at the Division of Medicine, UCL, Institute For Liver and Digestive Health (London, UK).

  • Professor at the Cetrus ultrasound school in São Paulo-SP and Co-founder of the HepatUS online school in liver ultrasound.
  • Hepatologist and ultrasonographer at the Oncology Clinic of Porto Alegre (Clinionco) – RS-Brazil
  • Hepatologist with a Master’s degree in Hepatology from UFCSPA and a PhD in Hepatology from UFCSPA and the University of Barcelona.
  • More than 20 years of experience in the practicing and teaching liver ultrasound, with particular interest in elastography, quantification of steatosis, doppler and B-mode US of the liver and portal system.
