GUSI’s acclaimed two-day in person POCUS training course combines high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions. This 13.5 CME course uses a flipped classroom model and is designed to maximize scanning time through low instructor-to-learner and learner-to-ultrasound device ratios. The course is unique, and taught by a multi-specialty group of physicians who are both skilled POCUS practitioners and expert educators. We will strive to match each registered student with an instructor of the same specialty, including Primary Care, Emergency, and Hospitalist/Critical care specialists, and training is optimized for those who work in rural/remote/austere locations.
