GUSI’S GLOBAL IMPACT

The mission of Global Ultrasound Institute is to educate medical professionals across the United States and anywhere in the world to master the tools and techniques of Point of Care Ultrasound technologies.

In addition to elevating the level of personal care a medical practitioner can deliver right at a patient’s side, this mission will help close the healthcare equity gap in underserved communities at home and abroad – including programs in Kenya and Ukraine, for example – where medical professionals have traditionally had limited access or education around the wealth of diagnostic information available via portable, handheld ultrasound equipment.

At Global Ultrasound Institute, we know ultrasound professionals and healthcare practitioners are dedicated to continually improving and expanding the ways they can provide greater, accurate patient care. Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) is a great way to elevate the bedside care you can provide by gaining immediate insight into a patient’s condition.

By providing a variety of POCUS training and educational opportunities from online courses to in-person training and seminars, plus the opportunity to provide institutional POCUS training at the highest level, Global Ultrasound Institute is the global leader in Point of Care Ultrasound education and advocacy.

Global Ultrasound Institute is proud to provide online Point of Care (POCUS) education to a wide range of individuals, including family physicians, internal medicine physicians, pediatricians, OB/Gyns, specialists, residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, nurses, midwives or any aspiring students with a penchant for innovation. To date, we have provided POCUS traning in all the highlighted countries – with more students gaining matery around the world every day.
