New Course: Point of Care Ultrasound for UK GPs:  Essential Topics & MSK

Gusi’s UK team is delighted to offer high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions with volunteer healthy models in an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.  The course is taught by experienced clinicians working in the NHS Community Services. Course participants also receive access to GUSI’s online longitudinal Essentials and MSK POCUS curricula. Participants will learn how to identify and clinically integrate common and frequent clinical conditions. Build confidence with new skills in:  cardiac, lung, pelvic organs, abdominal aorta, kidney, and gallbladder. Also, MSK diagnosis of shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and foot.

* Here is the course schedule.  In person topics include:  Ultrasound Fundamentals, Abdominal Aorta, Gallbladder/Liver, Lung, Kidney and Bladder, Cardiac, Pelvis, Femoral veins, MSK diagnosis of Shoulder, Wrist, Elbow, Knee, Hip, Joint Injections.

* Three months’ post-course access to GUSI’s online POCUS Essentials & MSK Essentials curricula is included with registration.  Online course access begins at the time of registration/payment.

* GUSI faculty recommend reviewing the “Scanning Technique” videos within each module of the the online courses as minimum preparation for the in-person course. 

* Cancellation policy: 
     100% refund (less credit card processing fee) up to 2 months prior to course;
     50% refund (less credit card processing fee) 1 – 2 months before course;
     No refund within 1 month of course — funds may be applied to a future course or another product.
