New Course: OB POCUS Review

GUSI’s acclaimed in-person Point of Care Ultrasound Training courses combine high-yield lectures and hands-on scanning sessions. This 8 CME course uses a flipped classroom model and is designed to maximize scanning time through low instructor to learner and learner to ultrasound ratios. The course is unique, taught by physicians who are both skilled POCUS practitioners and expert educators.  Course participants also receive access to our online POCUS curriculum for additional CME.

* Here is the course schedule.  In person topics include:  Ultrasound Fundamentals, First Trimester Evaluation, IUD Troubleshooting, Second/Third Trimester Evaluation, Rapid Fire Images, Fetal Biometry, Biophysical Profile, OSCE.

* This in-person course is worth 8 Prescribed CME.  Three months’ post-course access to our online POCUS curriculum is included with registration.  The basic online curriculum is worth 4 CME (available immediately upon registration).  More online content will be added in 2024, worth additional CME — details will be posted here when they become available.  GUSI faculty recommend reviewing the “Scanning Technique” videos within each module as minimum preparation for the March 1  course.
