Ultrasound is a primary diagnostic tool for chronic cholecystitis, offering clear visualization of gallbladder morphology and contents. Findings like a “WES triad” (Wall, Echo, Shadow) indicate a gallbladder filled with stones. Early and accurate ultrasound diagnosis is crucial for management and patient outcomes in abdominal imaging.
